Post Aug 5 Photos

Hey,

Sorry for the delay...now that Aug 5 is over and sign removal is more or less complete (blitz signs left to go...) I can get back to taking pictures. I do worry, though, that my photo proliferation will be reduced now that I'm not driving all over this beautiful land.

This was on an unnamed back road traveling through state land...I couldnt get out of the car (bee's were attacking it..) so I thought I'd include the trail traveled in the mirror.

Oil rig I found working today! Kind of cool, huh? (Sorry, I was lost looking for signs)

Doesn't this look like it should be black-and-white from the New Deal days? Well I've admired it every Sunday on the way to church but finally got a chance to shoot it.
DID I MENTION:
If you want these pictures in full definition (for a printout or desktop...perhaps I'm thinking too much of them) just send me an email and I'll send the attachment back.
Thanks and I HOPE YOULL SEND ME SOMETHING SOON!
Chris

Photography ...ish

Hello everyone,

Here I am again, invading another one of Chris's blogs...with his permission of course.

I also love photography and I am happy to share some of my pictures with you all. Here are a few to start...

A flying flag at sunset that Chris and I passed by one evening.

A robin's nest that was in a small tree right by my garage.

This picture was taken on a walk through the woods some time ago... obviously, it's been edited a bit to get the color effect.

Hello All

I've gotten more comfortable with blogging now and, because of this, I've decided to create a way of pushing another, more minor hobby of mine onto the world wide web. For those that know me, this will come as no surprise...but I like taking pictures.

Pictures of this, that, etc. Whatever image I can find that could have some sort of significance to someone, I try to record these. I hope for you to join me in this venture so I'm extending an offer to publish your work (though you may not consider it 'work') and I hope you'll accept.

Email your pictures to me at CMWicker@gmail.com and I'll gladly look those you send me over and put up the 'good ones.'

Maybe that's generic but I'm at lunch and should get back to work...here's a few samples:
